Hyper-Pigmentation is one skin concern that we constantly get asked about how to treat, whether its caused by pregnancy, over exposure to the sun, hormone changes or genetics, we have put together a list of our favourite effective natural products that aim to lighten pigmentation, even out skin tone and leave you with brighter skin.
Sodashi's Rejuvenating Concentrate
This unique oil based steaming exfoliant will help gently exfoliate the skin to assist in lightening pigmentation marks and sun spots over time. It includes the super brightening ingredient lemon which helps reduce scarring and pigmentation.
How to use:
- For morning and evening.
- After cleansing, add 10 drops to a basin (about 1.5 litres) of very warm water. Immerse a soft face cloth into the basin, squeeze out the cloth and compress onto the face, allowing the steam to sooth your skin.
- Repeat twice to exfoliate and refresh.
Is a blend of powerful botanicals, seaweed, rosewood, petitgrain and bilberry and is packed with antioxidants which help assist with brightening the skin and perfect for skin over exposed to the sun.
How to use:
- After cleansing and exfoliating, apply a small amount onto face and neck.
- Before use, shake well and then tap base of bottle firmly on the palm of your hand to ensure the product dispenses evenly.
- Follow with a serum and/or moisturiser.
Is a potent blend of nine powerful botanical oils including centella, carrot oil, palmarosa and frankincense to help repair damage and further protect against free radicals. this can be used on top of the Sodashi's Recovery Booster for a intensive skin treatment.
How to use:
- Use on cleansed skin 3 or 4 times a week in the evening and follow with a Sodashi moisturiser.
- Use just one or two pumps, warmed between the hands and pressed onto the face.
- Can be used during the day if extra hydration is needed.
- Listen to your skin and use this only when required – perhaps just the evening, maybe only a few times a week, possibly every day.
Sodashi's Nourish Repair Treatment

How to use:

How to use:
- Use once a week, after cleansing and exfoliation, apply a big teaspoon full over face, neck & décolletage. Avoid eye area.
- Leave on for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove with a damp face cloth.
- Tone and moisturise.

Mukti Age Defiance Night Serum

Trials using actives showed greater than 10% visible reduction in age spots over 4 weeks and 25% within 8 weeks and a significant brightening and lightening effect after 30-60 days.
How to use:
Use in the evening (PM) after cleansing. Press onto face, neck and décolletage areas and allow to absorb. A few drops of antioxidant facial oil may be layered on top if extra hydration is required. This product contains Vitamin A and may not be suitable for sensitive skin.
